Vrije zorgkeuze bij Psyspace

Psyspace is een vrijgevestigde praktijk zonder contracten met de meeste zorgverzekeraars. Dit betekent dat je zelf de regie houdt over je zorgtraject en je psychiater kiest.

BELANGRIJK NIEUWS: Psyspace heeft per 1 januari 2026 een contract met Zilveren Kruis. Dat betekent dat als je bij Zilveren Kruis bent verzekerd, jouw behandeling volledig wordt vergoed en de afhandeling van facturen automatisch loopt (in tegenstelling tot andere verzekeraars, waarbij je zelf je facturen in moet dienen en daarna overmaken).

Actuele status zorgverzekeraars 2026:
De restitutiepolis bestaat niet meer – alle verzekeraars hebben deze omgezet naar combinatiepolissen. 

Jouw vergoeding hangt af van je huidige polis:

  • Vergoeding varieert tussen 55-85% van het NZA-tarief
  • Je betaalt een eigen bijdrage voor het resterende deel
  • Exacte percentage hangt af van jouw verzekeraar
  • Niet-vergoede zorgkosten kunnen vaak afgetrokken worden bij je belastingaangifte, indien je boven de drempelwaarde komt. Dit varieert naargelang je inkomen en situatie

Je eerste afspraak

Een intake duurt meestal 60-90 minuten en bestaat uit diagnostiek. Tijdens dit gesprek:

  • Verkennen we samen jouw hulpvraag
  • Bepalen we of Psyspace de juiste plek voor je is
  • Maken we een plan voor het vervolg
  • Bespreken we of direct behandeling mogelijk is

Tip:

Vraag altijd vooraf een vergoedingsoverzicht op bij je zorgverzekeraar voordat je start met een behandeling.
Vind je binnen 14 weken nergens passende hulp, dan kun je je zorgverzekeraar om zorgbemiddeling vragen (de zogenaamde Treeknorm).
Kan je verzekeraar geen andere aanbieder vinden waar je terechtkunt voor dezelfde zorg, dan zijn zij verplicht de volledige kosten van jouw behandeling te vergoeden (het zogenaamde hinderpaalcriterium).

Psyspace is an independent practice without contracts with the majority of insurances.This means you stay in control of your care journey and choose your own psychiatrist.

IMPORTANT NEWS: As of January 1, 2026, Psyspace has a contract with Zilveren Kruis. This means that if you are insured with Zilveren Kruis, your treatment will be fully reimbursed, and billing will be handled automatically (unlike with other insurers, where you need to submit and pay your invoices yourself).

The restitution policy no longer exists – all insurers have converted it into combination policies.Your reimbursement depends on your current policy:

All actual policies (natura/combination):

  • Coverage varies between 55-85% of the NZA rate
  • You'll pay the remaining percentage as a personal contribution
  • Exact percentage depends on your specific insurer
  • Non-reimbursed healthcare costs can often be deducted from your tax return if you exceed the threshold. This varies depending on your income and situation.

Tip: Always request a reimbursement overview from your health insurer before starting treatment.
If you are unable to find appropriate care within 14 weeks, you can ask your insurer for care mediation (the so called Treeknorm).
If your insurer cannot find another provider where you can receive the same care, they are obliged to fully cover the costs of your treatment (the so called 'hinderpaalcriterium').
